Make a small velour teddy bear with rounded cheeks, a soft belly and paws joined while crocheting. The face is shaped with sewn eye and muzzle sculpting.
The PDF uses US crochet terms and includes the head, oval muzzle, two feet and legs, shaped arms, tail, body, ears, eye tightening paths, facial embroidery and assembly. A finished-project photograph shows the completed bear.
The example is approximately 16 cm (6.3 in) tall with a 3.5 mm hook and YarnArt Velour. Use approximately half a ball, stuffing, 12 mm eyes, a 14 mm nose and strong sculpting and embroidery threads. A thicker yarn such as Himalaya Dolphin Baby makes a larger bear; finished size varies with tension.
Digital pattern download; the finished bear and supplies are not included.
