SIZE AND MATERIALS
– Approximate size: 23.6 x 56.8 in (60 x 144.2 cm), excluding the dowel and hanging cord.
– Chart: 180 stitches x 519 rows.
– Hook: 2.5 mm, or size needed for gauge.
– Yarn: Fingering / super fine cotton (weight 1); 4 used colors.
– Target blocked gauge: 30 stitches x 36 rows per 10 cm (approximately 4 in).

TECHNIQUE
Detailed single crochet colorwork, worked back and forth through both loops. Carry yarn for short runs and use separate bobbins for larger areas. The entire rectangle, including its illustrated background and frame, is crocheted in one piece. The background and any illustrated frame are part of the chart. Work one complete rectangle, then block and mount it. The charted picture needs no separate attached pieces. Block the panel and mount it on one dowel.
